Feeling like vomiting despite eating a healthy diet is mostly not a problem with "healthy eating" itself. Instead, it is often linked to eating habits, suitability of ingredients, physical and even emotional state. Many people who have just started to adjust their diet have stepped into this trap. I met a girl who works in operations at an Internet company a while ago. She brought her own boiled vegetables and multi-grain rice for every meal, and even the milk tea was replaced with sugar-free kale juice. But after lunch last week, she suddenly squatted beside her work station and vomited. She was still confused. She said that my diet was lighter than what my grandma ate, so how could I still vomit?
When I asked later, I found out that she didn't have breakfast that day while rushing to the morning meeting. She was so hungry for ten minutes at noon that she finished grilling a whole box of multi-grain rice with half a catty of boiled broccoli. After finishing the meal, she drank half a cup of iced American style to catch the weekly newspaper. Think about it, your stomach was already soft after being empty all morning, but it was suddenly filled with grains and high-fiber vegetables that were so rough that your intestines were scratched, and then you shrank with excitement from the iced American style. It really had nothing to do with whether the ingredients were healthy or not, it was just the wrong way of eating.
There are also situations that are more subtle. What you think are “healthy ingredients” may just be your “minefield”. In order to control sugar, a friend of mine replaced all white bread with whole-wheat bread. After half a month, he felt nauseated and his stomach was blocked every time he ate it. When he went to check, he found out that he had mild gluten intolerance. The gluten in ordinary whole-wheat bread was more "harmful" to him than high-sugar milk tea. No matter how "healthy" you eat, it is useless if your body does not accept it. At present, the academic community has not yet reached a completely unified conclusion on the causes of food intolerance. Some people are born with enzyme deficiencies, while others have reduced tolerance caused by short-term gastrointestinal weakness. This does not mean that "healthy food" is suitable for everyone.
If you eat at the right pace and have never had problems with the ingredients you often eat, then you have to look elsewhere for the cause. I once met a child who was preparing for the postgraduate entrance examination. His parents prepared nutritious meals every day, with a balanced diet with less oil and less salt. As a result, he felt like vomiting everything he ate half a month before the exam. He went to the hospital to check his gastrointestinal tract and found no problems. Finally, I found out that it was functional indigestion caused by long-term stress. To put it bluntly, the brain was busy dealing with the exam and directly lowered the digestion priority of the gastrointestinal tract. No matter how good you feed it, it will not be able to digest it. Wouldn't it cause nausea if it is piled up in the stomach? Oh, yes, if a girl of childbearing age encounters this situation, don’t rush to check her stomach first. First, rule out whether it is normal morning sickness caused by early pregnancy. Don’t go in the wrong direction.
When I meet many people who encounter this situation, their first reaction is "healthy eating is a lie", and then they go back to eat heavy takeout, which is completely unnecessary. If you really encounter something, take it easy and recall your recent status. Occasionally, it is mostly a problem with your eating rhythm or short-term status. If it occurs frequently, then do a troubleshooting. Finding the right cause is much more useful than directly denying healthy eating.
