How does immunity improve the body

The most intuitive feeling of improved immunity is actually that the body's "error tolerance" has become higher - the minor problems that used to explode at the slightest touch, and the mental state that collapsed after just one session can now be easily dealt with.
In the past two years, I had a typical physique that broke down when the seasons changed. I would always catch a cold in autumn. In spring, rhinitis would bother me for half a month when poplar catkins floated. If someone coughed in the office area, I would feel hoarse the next day. Last year, I followed my friend for jogging three times a week for most of the year and slept seven hours a day. This year, when poplar catkins floated all over the city, I only had an itchy nose for two hours that afternoon, and I didn’t even sneeze. In previous years, I kept the spare loratadine in my bag for three months without opening it.
There have been many claims before that "free from colds all year round" is regarded as the gold standard for strong immunity. In fact, there are different clinical views. There are many people who usually have no headaches or brain fever, but they have big problems when they are checked. Essentially, the "early warning mechanism" of immunity is too slow, small injuries and inflammations fail to send signals in time, and they are not really healthy.
A really well-regulated immunity is more like a well-trained security team in your body. It will not be too sensitive to overreact to harmless stimuli such as pollen and cold air (commonly known as allergies), nor will it be too slow to allow invading germs to multiply. The changes you can feel are quite subtle, such as eating before. A slightly stale takeaway will cause diarrhea for a day, and now I occasionally get no reaction from eating at a roadside stall. I stayed up late at night (I really don’t recommend it) and I was groggy for three days. Now I can recover after half an hour of sleep at noon the next day. Even a small cut accidentally healed much faster than before.
Many people still think that they need to take various protein powders and immune tablets to improve their immunity. I have followed the trend and bought hundreds of imported supplements. Later, when I went for a physical examination, a nutritionist told me that as long as the daily diet of meat, eggs, milk, fruits and vegetables is balanced enough, the work and rest do not stay up late for a long time, and you can exercise two or three times a week, there is no need to eat extra these. Excessive supplementation will put a burden on the immune system. For example, excessive supplementation of vitamin C may induce urinary tract stones, which is not worth the gain.
In fact, there is no need to look for any standard to benchmark. Whether your immunity is good or not, your own body feels the most honest way. No one knows better than you whether you feel comfortable or not, and whether your recovery is fast or not.
