Regular functional anti-aging skin care products that correspond to anti-aging targets can indeed play a certain role in delaying aging, but don’t expect it to reverse aging, let alone replace medical beauty or healthy living habits.
I have been evaluating skin care products for almost 5 years. I recently did a controlled test for a pair of twin girlfriends. Their skin types, daily routines, and sun protection habits are almost exactly the same. The only difference is that my sister uses an anti-aging essence containing 20% Bose from a big brand, and my sister uses a brand-name anti-aging essence that is just a concept. An affordable anti-aging essence with a little bit of peptide added. After using it for 3 months, my sister’s dry lines at the corners of her eyes have faded by almost 60%, and the apples of her skin are firmer than before. My sister’s skin condition is almost the same as when she used ordinary moisturizing creams. Even she herself complained that she spent money in vain.
Many people think that anti-aging skin care products are all IQ taxes. In fact, most of them have not stepped on the boundaries of their capabilities. They either bought concept products that are "selling sheep's meat to dogs" - the active ingredients are added less than the preservatives, which have no effect at all. I once had a 37-year-old reader come to me for consultation and said that she had spent more than 30,000 yuan on various anti-aging essences for ladies, but her nasolabial folds were not faded at all. I looked at her photos and found that her nasolabial folds were not epidermal dryness lines at all, but structural lines caused by the downward movement of soft tissue on the face. The ingredients of skin care products can penetrate into the superficial layer of the dermis at most and cannot touch the soft tissue that moved down. In this case, no matter how much skin care products were applied, it was useless. Finally, she had soft tissue filling and lifting, which really improved the problem.
In fact, to use a very simple analogy, our skin is like a freshly picked peach. Anti-aging skin care products are equivalent to the fresh-keeping bag + ice pack on the outside, which can slow down the dryness, wrinkles and sun-softening of the skin. But if you put the peach directly If the peach is exposed to the sun or suffocated in a high temperature place, no matter how thick the plastic bag is, it will not stop it from rotting quickly; if the peach itself has begun to chaff from the core, no matter how useful the plastic bag is, it will not be able to return it to the crisp and sweet state when it was just picked.
There is actually no controversy in the field of dermatology now. It is generally accepted that regular anti-aging skin care products can improve epidermal fine lines, enhance skin firmness, and delay aging. However, it can only cover less than 30% of the anti-aging weight. The remaining 70% depends on your lifestyle habits of protecting yourself from the sun, staying up less late, and eating less sugar and oil. If you expect that a bottle of skin care products can fight against aging, you are thinking too much.
