Contains total saponins of Panax notoginseng, which can improve uterine microcirculation. It is suitable to start taking it 3 days before menstruation and continue until the end of menstruation. Suspend use during cold and fever periods.
5. Dan'e Fukang decoction
It is composed of Salvia miltiorrhiza, Curcuma zedoaria, etc., and is used for dysmenorrhea due to cold coagulation and blood stasis. It needs to be taken with warm rice wine or warm water. People with heavy menstruation should use it with caution. Avoid eating radish while taking this medicine.
During menstruation, you should keep your abdomen warm and use a hot water bottle to apply heat to your lower abdomen. Maintain moderate exercise such as yoga and walking and avoid strenuous exercise. Ensure adequate sleep and drink 1500-2000 ml of water daily. Record the menstrual cycle and pain level. If non-menstrual pain or dysmenorrhea worsens, seek medical attention promptly.
