There is no "special anti-allergic food" that can immediately stop allergy attacks. The food we usually talk about is essentially food that can help regulate the immune state, reduce the frequency of allergy attacks, and relieve discomfort during attacks. A few years ago, I had severe pollen allergies in the spring, and I went back and forth to the ophthalmology and otolaryngology department. Later, I adjusted my daily diet according to the doctor's advice. For two consecutive springs, I no longer sneezed more than a dozen times in a row and my eyes were swollen like walnuts.
The first adjustment I made was to replace the weekly braised pork with two meals of steamed salmon. The rich Omega3 unsaturated fatty acids in it are equivalent to a cushion for over-excited immune cells, which can inhibit the release of inflammatory factors and reduce the redness, swelling, itching and pain during allergic attacks. However, a reminder here is that friends who are allergic to deep-sea fish must not touch it. On the contrary, it will aggravate the allergic reaction, and the gain outweighs the loss.
I usually add a plate of cruciferous vegetables to the dinner table, either stir-fried broccoli or cold red cabbage. The quercetin in these ingredients is a natural antihistamine analogue, and its high content of vitamin C can reduce blood vessel permeability. When I had urticaria due to allergies in the past, the itching and restlessness was relieved a lot. Speaking of this, some people must ask, are the vitamin C effervescent tablets I usually prepare also effective? In fact, vitamin C in natural foods is combined with other antioxidant ingredients, and its absorption and utilization rate is more stable than that of pure supplements. However, if you usually eat less vegetables, it is okay to take some vitamin C supplements as directed by your doctor, but do not overeat, as it will put a burden on the kidneys. Of course, it must be said that eating vegetables is just a daily supplement. If the allergy attacks to the point of difficulty breathing and rashes all over the body, the proper thing is to take anti-allergic drugs and go to the hospital as soon as possible. Don't expect to get over it by eating two plates of broccoli.
My best friend used to be very allergic to dust mites and would sneeze non-stop when cleaning the bathroom. Later, she followed the advice of a nutritionist and drank a small cup of unsweetened live culture Greek yogurt every day for half a year. Now she seldom has snot or tears when cleaning the closet like before. However, there are currently different views on the anti-allergic research of probiotics. Some studies believe that only specific strains of probiotics can regulate intestinal immunity. Not just drinking yogurt with a lot of fruit flavors and sugars will be effective. Friends who are allergic to dairy products should avoid such foods.
Finally, I would like to say one more thing. Everyone's allergens are very different. You may be allergic to other people's food if they eat it. It is best to go to the hospital to check your own allergens before eating. Dietary adjustment is always an auxiliary method for allergy prevention and control, and cannot replace regular desensitization treatment and drug intervention.
